WHAT: Rep. Carrie Lewis DelRosso (R-Allegheny/Westmoreland), in a partnership with House Majority Policy Committee Chairman Martin Causer (R-Cameron/McKean/Potter), will host a hearing to receive testimony from local business owners and economic development leaders on how the economy can be regrown in the southwestern region of the state. Solutions will focus on how the area can “Build Back Better.”

WHO:       Lewis DelRosso; at least a dozen members from across the state, including the following from the southwest region: Reps. Rob Mercuri (R-Allegheny), Lori Mizgorski (R-Allegheny) and Eric Nelson (R-Westmoreland); Dr. Kevin Snider, chancellor of Penn State University New Kensington campus; Mike Malcanas, owner of Mito Insulation Inc.; David Vivino, president and co-owner of Oakmont Tavern; Chris Petrone, legislative director of the Local 66 Operating Engineers 66-A, B, C, D, O and R; Don F. Smith Jr., PhD, president of the Regional Industrial Development Corporation; and Jon Nehlsen, associate dean of Carnegie Mellon University, Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy.
