WHAT: The House Republican Policy Committee, chaired by Rep. Donna Oberlander (R-Clarion/Armstrong/Forest), and the House Democrat Policy Committee, chaired by Rep. Mike Sturla (D-Lancaster), will host their respective committees for a tour of the Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology.

The tour is designed to promote efforts within the House to expand career and technical education to fill the in-demand jobs of today. Over 90 percent of the college’s graduates have remained in the Commonwealth since its founding in 1905. Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology is Pennsylvania’s only state-owned, two-year college of technology.
