Reversing the damage left in the wake of the past recession is not an easy task. Everyone is worried about finding a job, keeping a job and, more importantly, about the future for their children. With a government so comfortable with the status quo, something has to give to produce a clear response to the challenges facing all of us. We need to break down the barriers to economic growth and reform our tax structure to create jobs now and in the future.

In my time as a state legislator, I have come to learn that Pennsylvania residents are some of the most caring folks one could ever hope to meet. Especially during difficult times, people are always willing to lend a hand in their community.

January 2011 begins a new era in Pennsylvania as Republicans return to the majority in the state House. With this comes a bold opportunity – one that centers on rebuilding what was broken over the last several years and bringing stability and prosperity back to the lives of Pennsylvanians.
